Random Thoughts (Thanks, Neil!)

You might say that the Noo Yawk experience has been as expected.  NYers are a different breed of cat, however that mostly applies to the greater NYC area.  Now that we are upstate, people are a bit more human.

The East River and Hudson River mirror this as 2 of the significant landmarks are Rikers Island and Sing Sing!  If NYers were nicer people maybe they could get away with only one!  The other common landmark are power plants around every corner.  Fortunately, Jim has his special undies and was protected.  I on the other hand was completely exposed!  Not sure that we need anymore children anyway.  Watson having already had "the procedure" slept through it!

Met another Peterson in Newburgh who I have adopted as a cousin.  They gave us a number of local tips.  Perhaps a stop for the way home.

I am posting this at 630 AM on Wednesday and the rain has passed and left fog on the river.  Rather scenic but not too photogenic!  

We start on the locks today.  Are we ready for them?  Are they ready for us?
