Westport NY

Westport Marina  Westport NY.  ****  Marina facilities great:  internet, Good bathhouse, short walk to very quaint town (albeit up a VERY steep hill), docks in good shape, magnificent views eastward to Vermont and Green Mountains - although they are shrouded in the dark rolling clouds we have come to know so well.   We seem to be in a weather pattern that has some sun in the early am with many dense dark clouds and then intermittent rain followed by rainy evenings and nights.  Then by am, clear again.   We were able to enjoy the fireworks last night in Westport right from Joel's boat - with its back porch and shelter from the rain.   We also got to see the fireworks across the lake:  Basin Harbor plus 2 others!   It was great.  Watson preferred the comfort of our bed during this - but he can comment later on that.   B
